Under the project ASICA of Clinical Services and Research Division (CSRD), faith Bangladesh invites applications from suitable candidates for the position of Clinical Occupational Therapist. The appointment will be made on a Fixed Term basis for 2 years, which is renewable depending on performance and availability of funds.

Duty station – Dhaka and Cumilla

Salary – Attractive salary and benefits (provident fund contribution, festival bonus, etc.) will be offered to the selected candidates as per the organization’s policy.

Job Responsibilities

Quality Service:

• Exercise evidence-based practice with special children.
• Implement case-based Clinical Occupational Therapy intervention following proper assessment and planning.
• Engage parents/ caregivers in decision making considering planning and outcome of therapy.  
• Counsel, empower, and engage parents/ caregivers during therapy sessions when applicable.
• Use ERP-based online system for documentation, monitoring, and evaluation of services.
• Apply the principles of research to improve clinical practice and academic career.

Professional Practice:

• Understand the legal, ethical, and safety responsibilities of professional practice.
• Maintain confidentiality of service recipients.
• Communicates with parents/ caregivers in a manner that is consistent with their level of understanding and cultural background.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships within and outside organizations.

Requirements for Candidature

• B.Sc in Clinical Occupational Therapy with completion of 1-year Internship from any reputed University/ Institution.
• Experience in working with children having neuro-developmental disorders will be given preferences.
