The conference is scheduled to take place on November 17-18, 2023 at the prestigious Bangladesh Medical Research Council Auditorium, located in Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Abstract Submission Instructions: Participants are invited to submit their abstracts adhering to the following guidelines:

  1. Abstract Length: The abstract, from Objectives to Conclusion, must not exceed 250 words.
  2. Format:
    • Title: Bold type, no abbreviations.
    • Author's Name: Begin on a new line two spaces below the title, in italics, omitting degrees, titles, and numbers.
    • Institution Name: Begin on a new line below Authors, in italics.
    • Email Address: Include on the next line.
    • Text: Arrange under the following sub-headings:
      • Objective: State the main objective/research question/hypothesis of the study.
      • Design and Methods: Briefly describe the study design, population, sampling, procedures, and measurements.
      • Results: Present main results with variability (e.g., SD) and precision of comparisons (e.g., 95% CIs), where appropriate.
      • Conclusions: Limit to conclusions directly supported by the results. Be clear about "take home" messages.
      • Text Limit: The word limit of the Text of the abstract: is 250 to 300 words.
    • Keywords: Select relevant keywords.
    • Presenter Details: Include title, name, designation, affiliated institute, email address, and contact number.
    • Sub-theme & Presentation Type: Mention the sub-theme and presentation type (oral/poster) in the subject line of your submission email
    • Last Date of Submission: The last date of Abstract submission is 20 September 2023.
  3. Review and Publication: Selected abstracts will be published in the conference edition of SEAJPH, the official journal of PHFBD. Potential full papers will be considered for publication in future editions of SEAJPH. The abstract review committee reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.
