Assalamu Alaikum,
I am Syeda Anika Momtaz. I come from Barishal district. I completed the Caregiving Level 2 course from an institute in the Gaurnadi upazila of Barishal.
After completing Level 2 in Caregiving, I had to take a long break from studying in this field. Gradually, I realized that pursuing caregiving opens up many opportunities in life. It not only provides personal benefits but also helps one to stand on a stronger platform.
After completing Level 2, I decided to continue with Level 3. So, I contacted the same institute where I had done Level 2. At first, I wanted to specialize in Elderly Care, but unfortunately, that course was not available at the institute. By chance, I got in touch with the assessor from my Level 2 course. Through her, I learned that if I wanted to pursue Elderly Care in Level 3, I would need to come to Dhaka.
After discussing with madam in detail, I came to know about the opportunities and advantages this course could provide in life, and how it could benefit me in different ways. From her explanation, my trust and confidence in caregiving grew even more.
Since I am also continuing my studies in the general academic line, I realized that in Bangladesh, general education alone does not always lead to good career prospects due to the current job crisis. But through caregiving courses, there are plenty of job opportunities both in Bangladesh and abroad.
For this reason, after getting all the information, I came to Dhaka and decided to attend classes and sit for the assessment at faith Bangladesh Institute.
After joining here, I have been attending classes for quite some time, and I am truly enjoying them. What I observed is that the learning environment and the subject matter here are very rich and extensive. I am gaining new knowledge and skills that are contributing greatly to both my personal life and professional growth.
I also found that through caregiving, I can pursue roles such as trainer or assessor, and I can build a career in the profession I am truly passionate about. By learning new things myself, I will also be able to guide and teach others who wish to follow this path in the future.
Caregiving not only helps us secure good jobs within the country but also opens doors to opportunities abroad. faith Bangladesh plays a vital role in creating these opportunities for us, provided we have the right qualifications.
We are sincerely grateful to faith Bangladesh for offering us the chance to pursue these courses. Here, the teachers and mentors guide us in a very friendly manner, using simple methods and language that make learning easier and more effective.
For this, I am truly grateful and thankful to them.
