Introduction

Today, we cannot think of day without computer especially in creating new business opportunities. Entrepreneurs realize the most how essential it is to have at least basic knowledge and skills on computer use to boost up their creative thoughts into productive outputs. This training aims to equip women entrepreneurs on basic day-to-day computer operation who are currently managing or intending to manage individual organization efficiently.

Objectives

At the end of the training, participants will be able to

• Explore the application of computer in entrepreneurship
• Recognize the individualized need to operate Microsoft Office
• Use basic MS Office-Word, Excel and PowerPoint for day-to-day operation

Eligible participants: Present and future women entrepreneurs.

Prerequisite: Personal Laptop during training.

Course duration: Total 18 hours, preferably every alternate day from 05:00 pm to 08:00 pm.

Lead facilitator: Eng. Md. Belal Hossain, CSE, is a highly qualified IT expert who has more than 10 years of experience in the relevant field and contributed actively in equipping modern organization with IT enhancement in national and international arena.

Course fee

The course fee is BDT 6000 (Six Thousand Taka) for each participant to cover the cost of training materials, evening snacks and faculty time. However, travel costs and accommodation are not included in the course fee.

How to pay? 

The preferred method of payment is Online using Credit or Debit Card or Mobile Banking (e.g. BKash). Participants can also make wire transfer or bank draft in favour of faith Bangladesh. Details will be provided in the acceptance letter.

Selection and admission of participants

The eligible participants will be selected based on first come first serve basis. Only selected participants will be notified by email or SMS or over telephone. The admission will only be confirmed when the fee is received.

Certification for the course

After successful completion of the course, each participant will receive a certificate of participation jointly awarded by Women Entrepreneurs’ Association (WEA), Bangladesh and faith Bangladesh.
